Galarian Articuno can be found in the Crown Tundra, Galarian Zapdos is located in the Wild Area, and Moltres can be spotted in the Isle of Armor. During the story of Crown Tundra, the Galarian Legendary Birds can be encountered at Dyna Tree Hill, which triggers a cutscene which all three flee to the three different spots in Galar. The Galarian Legendary Birds first appeared in the games Pokémon Sword and Shield in their Expansion Pass. In Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, the trio are featured in their previous locations from Red, Blue, and Yellow, but can also be found roaming in the sky after the player has beaten the Pokemon League. The bird must be encountered 11 times, however, before they will retreat to the Sea Spirit's Den and become available for capture. If the player character chooses Chespin, they will encounter Articuno if they have Fennekin, they will see Zapdos and if they picked Froakie, they may catch Moltres. Pokémon Platinum featured the Legendary Birds as roaming Sinnoh after the player character defeats the Pokémon League. Pokémon Yellow featured the trio in their previous locations, while later games featuring Kanto moved Moltres to different areas: in FireRed and LeafGreen, the Flame Pokémon was at Mt. Zapdos can be found at the Kanto Power Plant, while Moltres can be captured in Victory Road. Articuno is hidden within the Seafoam Islands. The Kantonian Legendary Birds first appeared in the games Pokémon Red, Green, and, outside of Japan, Blue Versions. The Legendary Birds ( 伝説 ( でんせつ )の 鳥 ( とり ) Densetsu no Tori) are a trio of Legendary Pokémon that resemble birds, consisting of the Ice/ Flying-type Articuno (フリーザー Furiizaa), the Electric/ Flying-type Zapdos (サンダー Sandaa), and the Fire/ Flying-type Moltres (ファイヤー Faiyaa). It turns aggressive if it has too much electricity in its body. Like its pre-evolved forms, Raichu is able to learn Volt Tackle as a signature move. The main reason Raichu is rarely seen in the wild is because people prefer the look it had as Pikachu. Being the result of evolution via Evolution stone, Raichu is rarely found in the wild, though they can be found in forests and woodlands. This leads to scorched patches near its nest. To keep from reaching this state, it discharges electricity through its tail into the ground.
However, it will become aggressive if it has stored too much electricity and stress. If Raichu's sacs are fully charged, its ears will stand straight up and its muscles become stimulated. Raichu can store over 100,000 volts of electricity. It also protects Raichu from its own high voltage power.
Raichu's tail is used to gather electricity from the atmosphere, or it can be planted in the ground to search for electricity. Raichu exudes a weak electrical charge from all its body and glows slightly in the dark.
This lightning bolt is chipped on females. Its long, thin tail has a lightning bolt-shaped end. On its back are two horizontal brown stripes. Its arms and feet have patches of brown fur at the end, and the soles of its long feet are tan with a circular orange pad in the center. There is a circular yellow marking on each cheek where its electric sacs are, and it has a triangular, dark brown nose. Its bifurcated ears are brown on the outside, yellow on the insides, and end in a distinctive curl. Raichu is covered in dark orange fur with a white belly. Raichu is a bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon.
